Feel free to add other information about the level of play you are seeking, defensive positions, political party affiliation or day of the week you play that may be helpful. The Commissioner will list your information on this page beginning in April.

I would prefer Democrats or West Coast people. I am a die hard Yankees fan, so if there are any teams comprised of the same, I would be very happy about that.

It was not a very competitive league; I usually played left field or third base.. Led off in the batting order.

I am an intern for Congressman Cantor and would like to play with Republican staff in the House or Senate. I wanted to make the deadline for registration, so I paid the full fee just to make sure I registered on time. I would prefer to be on a team with some younger players. If I am put on a team with a mixed-age group I would not have a problem as long as there are some younger people on the team. I get along with everyone and I feel that I could be a good addition to other teams because of my experience playing ball. I really appreciate you having this service to help me find a team. I started interning late and found out late as well about the website, so I was very worried I would not find a team. I am probably going to the Happy Hour on Monday to meet coaches, so it may be a good idea to tell me a few teams I may be interested in joining. Thank you so much, Brian

The team won our league's highest division in the regular season, although there were certainly players better than me. I was able to hold my own though. I've played every position, and it really depends on what the team needs. On really good teams, I usually end up in right field or another outfield position. I play left or short for less talented teams. I'm pretty open and just looking for a team though.

During those years, I played mainly in the outfield with a brief stint at 2B. In college, I played intramural softball every spring for four years. Last summer, I played softball in the Central Park Softball League in New York City where I was the Center Fielder and lead-off hitter. No preferences...just want to play with good people who want to win, but more importantly, who want to have a good time. I'm not a big hitter and seldeom hit home runs, but I'm usually good for a run when at bat. Decent at fielding and willing to hustle it up when I need to. I'll play with anyone else who'll hit, run, pitch and bat, but won't whine at a loss.

In high school played both high school and travel softball. Pitched until high school and then switched to 3rd base. I very much prefer 3rd base Usually batted in the middle. I've only played socially since high school. I would prefer a Democratic team or a very mixed team. Please don't place me entirely with Republicans they will sniff out my extreme liberalness. I'd prefer a team on the younger side and perhaps political or nonprofit. I'm pretty flexible.

Youngish (I'm 26), Democrats, civil rights (any or all of these would be fine). Hello, I would like to be involved in the League this summer. However, I am a law student interning at the EEOC and will only be in DC from mid-May through the beginning of August. Can I still participate? Also, is the EEOC going to have a team this year? I am pretty fast on the bases, can field well, I have a decent arm. I make contact when hitting, and am trying to be a better power hitter. Would like to play with other players mostly 20-30 years old.
